THE FAST & THE FURIOUS (1954) is an adventure story of a different kind, from the fertile mind of B-movie czar Roger Corman. It follows a wrongly imprisoned young man named Frank Webster (John Ireland) as he breaks out of jail, takes a beautiful woman and her gorgeous sports car hostage, and sets out for Mexico.
